description
She Plays Football is a program that aims to develop the athletic and technical capacities of young female athletes through coaching centered around health, self-awareness and inclusivity, as well as provide high quality professional training to young Moroccan female coaches.
Being the most popular sport in the world, football offers young girls an opportunity to reach their potential, build confidence and make positive change in society. We believe in using the power of Football to empower the next generation of skilled, confident and empathetic female Moroccan leaders.
We use Football in this program as a tool to teach young girls important life skills, leadership and emotional intelligence in addition to values of teamwork, empathy and resilience. These skills are paired with technical and tactical football skills within a safe space where girls can embrace their passion for football and be recognized and appreciated for their talents.
objectives
Increasing the number of girls and women playing regular Football on Morocco territory, especially in remote areas.
Creating a society that promotes gender equality in terms of opportunities and responsibilities, but also in terms of access and practice of sport.
Allow girls and women to have the opportunity to develop their abilities and self-confidence as players or coaches.
